Yamaha MW8cx
Studio mixer
Maybe you are wondering why a fingerstyle guitarist would need a mixer. If you play the bass, melody and the accompaniment all on your own, you don't have any signals to mix you would expect. But it makes more sense than you might think.

One can use channel one for the guitar pickup and channel two for a (condensor) microphone for example. If you want a bit more versatility you can run the pickup signal through a amplifier and use both the clean and the effect signal. Now you already have three channels with their own sound. By adjusting the volume levels and te equalizers, it is possible to create your own sound. Certainly if you also use the built-in effect unit.
